“River God” | Madwoman Monologue

Here’s my audition for this year’s Madwoman’s Monologue production.

I presented an excerpt from “River God” by Louise Hopewell. The piece is a reflection by a priceless South American river god statue who is upset at a CCTV camera invading his privacy. I decided to take it in a slightly different direction and asked myself, what would he be like if he was an Australian bogan?
