I’m really enjoying rehearsals for “Beachside Stories” (Director: Elizabeth Walley), produced by Melbourne Writers’ Theatre and Gasworks Art Park.
We’ll be celebrating 5 prominent local Melbourne identities – sharing their stories and paying tributes to their wonderful contributions to their local communities.
I have to say – it’s so nice to be involved in a production that celebrates good people. Simple, beautiful story telling. I’ll be bringing Tony Manago’s story to life. Tony is a larger than life butcher at South Melbourne Market, and an extraordinary opera singer.
Here’s the thing. I don’t sing. So we are going to be brilliant!
